Goryt’ zvizda, iskrytzya snig, 

Spivaye olen-zlatorig,

A tenor-vovk vid schastya mre:

Nayvyschi noty vin bere. 

V kozhusi burim pan vedmid’

Drimaye y ledve vzhe stoyit’, 

Ta tyagne basom z-pid vikna, 

Azh hodyt hata hoduna.

Dzvinki, chudovi golosy

A scho za kolyadu dasy?

Gotuy zhe gostyam na shvydku

Kapusty, m’yasa i medku, 

Gorihiv, sina i zerna,

I sche schos’, ale scho?

To carol on a Christmas day

The choir from the forest came.

The star ⭐️ is shining, the snow ❄️ is sparkling, 

The golden horn deer 🦌 is singing 

The tenor-wolf is dyeing out of happiness:

He’s reaching the highest notes. 

The Sir Bear 🐻 is wearing the brown fur coat 🧥,

He’s drowsy and barely can stand, 

But singing bass from beneath the window, 

So the hut is shaking. 

There are clear and bright voices 

What are you going to give for caroling? 

Prepare for the guests fast

The cabbage 🥬 , some meat 🍖 and a honey 🍯 , 

nuts 🌰, hay, grains. 

And something else,
